Day tours start from Arusha, Moshi or Marangu. The excursions are in a short time, you can choose to visit one of the beautiful tour sites like; Materuni water falls, Mount Kilimanjaro hike,
Safari & guided walk to Arusha National Park, Guided and sightseeing at Lake Challa, Swimming at Chemka hotsprings, Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.

Chemka Hot Springs

Located approximately 2 hours drive from Moshi town in Chemka; is the hot springs. Hidden by a beautiful green forest lie natural hot springs, ideal for taking a relaxing dip or simply to use as a backdrop for a tranquil picnic or bbq.

You will be accompanied by a driver and guide and can spend as little or as long as you like, with the option to camp overnight in this idyllic spot. If lucky, you may be able to spot baboons hanging in the tree-tops above you.

Marangu Day Trip

Our Marangu day trip has it all: culture, cuisine, caves and plenty of lively conversation. You’ll even take a dip in a waterfall or two, so bring your cozzie.

Marangu town nestles on the fertile slopes of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, and it’s brimming with tradition. You’ll explore the culture and terrifying history of the Chagga Tribe (they built those caves for a reason) and you’ll take a short but delightful hike in the lush green landscape to a sparkling waterfall but, don’t worry, you won’t run out of energy because you’ll visit a coffee plantation and have the chance to roast and make your own coffee. Njoro Forest Reserve Moshi

Approximately one hour outside of Moshi town, lays Njoro Forest. By taking bicycles, or simply on foot, you will explore the forest with a guide, where it is possible to spot the colobus monkey, blue monkey and if lucky, the rarely sited Kirk’s dik-dik which also inhabit all of the national safari parks.

You will also visit a rice plantation and the enormous magical tree, surrounded by myth and legend. This is where most people will opt to stop for lunch. You will then head back to Moshi town; satisfied, muddy and in need of a refreshing cold beverage.

Mandara – Kilimanjaro 1 Day Hike

If you are only in Tanzania for a short amount of time, or are not quite ready to tackle the summit of Africa’s largest mountain, then Tanzaniaflow tours can arrange for you to do the first day of the hike up Mt Kilimanjaro. After reaching the gates at Marangu, you will hike for approximately 3-4 hours to the first lodges, 2,700 meters from the base of the mountain.

Here you will take a break for lunch while also having the opportunity to take in the stunning wildlife that surrounds you, before starting your descent. You will be accompanied by a qualified and licensed guide, ready to answer all your questions, while pointing out things of interest along the way.
